T his paper studied the effects of different low er limits of irrigation on growth, yield and fruit quality of peppers. The results indicated that plant height, stem thic ness and yield of peppers under 70 % low er limit of irrigation - 2 w ere higher than other w atering treatments, the maximum output reached 2 262. 19 g 667 m . Indexes of fruit quality also reached their maximum value, w ith the content of VC 1. 27 mg g- 1, free amino acids - 1 - 1 363. 6 g g and soluble sugar content 20. 4 mg g . It is suggested that 70 % of w atering requirement is an ideal level of irrigation limits for cultivating peppers by using ecological organic soilless.
