DEFINITION AND MEASUREMENT OF PIPING WORK 1. Pipes (1) Measurement Material Division x Connection Type x Wall Thickness x Pipe Size x Quantity (No. of Die-in) (2) Definition (a) The quantity (Die-in) generally shall be classified according to material division, connection type, wall thickness and pipe size. (b) Unit costs shall cover all necessary work, as required by the specification, for different types of connections. (c) Pipe wall thickness shall comply with the given pipe schedule numbers, specific wall thickness codes, where appropriate, and be in millimeters or inches. (d) Pipe size means the nominal pipe size (inches) or diameter (millimeters) (e) The quantity (Dia-in) shall be calculated base on the number of weld j oints for piping system, including high frequency bends, valves and flanges.
