The examiner will be impressed if you can paraphrase effectively. 2 You need an overview of the information. This means that you need to look at the big picture, not the individual details. I recommend writing a short paragraph with two sentences that summarise two main things that you can see on the chart. If you forget the overview, youll get a lower score. 3 Finally, you need to describe some specific details. This is where you select, describe and compare individual pieces of information (usually numbers). I try to separate this description of details into two paragraphs.
