However, from my perspective, it is necessary for us to inherit traditions in modern life.; (Just as a saying goes, there’s no modern time without ancient time.) Several reasons account for the necessity. In the first place, a lot of traditions like Chinese Kongfu, Peking opera, and Confucius ideas are all the essence of human history. In the second place, it is traditions that differ us from others in the world, especially when globalization is taking place rapidly. Last but not least, Chinese culture cannot live without its own traditions which is of importance for the youths. ; As far as I’m concerned, traditions still offer us spiritual nutrition, although modern science and technology can almost satisfy all our materials needs and desires.
