In this review, a summary is offered that the resarch progresses of phthalocyanine compounds in different optoelectronic material application fields, and the relationship between performance and molecular structure, crystalline form of phthalocyanines used as photovoltaic materials, thin film semiconductor materials, liquid crystal materials, photoconductive materials and electroluminescent materials in recent years.
