Abstract: This paper was concerned w ith application of pow er flow finite element method ( PFFEM) to

joint a special procedure is needed to assemble the global matrix equations In addition to place multiple
nodes and insert joint element at the joint, a coupled matrix was obtained that is the most important step in
application. Then, PFFEM was applied to the frame structure with the arbitrary coupled angles. The flex-
ural and longitudinal energy transmission path and energy sinks of the frame structure are identified that
are the valuable clues to the vibration control.
