Methods: 23 disabled athletes and 30 able- bodied ath- letes are investigated wíth a t∞1 of psychological scale. Results: The disabled archer is in the normal state of mental healt h. Compared wíth the able-bodied ,it shows obvious paranoid tendencies; a lot of fac- tors of psychological stress , personality characteristics and coping style are closely related to mental health. Disabled archers feel the lower of psychological stress than the able- bodied athletes ,and disabled athletes show obvious cover up tendencies. Conclusion: in the process of psychological training and psy- chological intervention ,the athletés mental health and relatecl factors must be taken into account and spe- cific m四sures must be adopted in order to deal wíth personalized strategies and methods of implementa- tion of the impact.
