Methods: To retrieve Pubmed and CNKI respectively by means of keywords搒ide effects?and ( or ) g “propylthiouracil”, then analyze the literatures. Results: Except hematological system injury we are familiar with, more severe adverse reactions such as antineutrophil cytoplasmic autoantibody-positive vasculitis(ANCA) were reported, cases of which tended to ascend. If early detection and drug withdrawal promptly, corresponding therapy was adopted according to the kind of adverse reactions, the patient would get a good outcome. Conclusion: To improve the realization of adverse reactions of propylthiouracil will be helpful to clinical safety utilization of propylthiouracil.
