By introducing the construction of research~based hospitals in the USA , which had a history of two hundred years , we further analyzed the essence of research~based. Aiming at the current mismatch phenomenon of basic re search and clinical application , we made constructive suggestions that were suitable for national conditions and on the level of institutional mechanisms to provid references for the medical model transformation in China from a new perspective.
