The provisions of the English Teaching Syllabus for English Majors, extensive reading of English major undergraduate course aims to cultivate and improve students reading ability, enlarge vocabulary, and expand the English national and cultural background knowledge. However, in the specific teaching practice, the author found that the teaching of English extensive reading at present there are some easily overlooked errors, so we analysis of the causes of these errors in this paper, and puts forward some countermeasures, in order to improve the students English reading level.
