Present progressive tense. 2. Yes/No questions and short answers. D. Useful words and phrases: Words: watching, doing, cleaning, playing, swimming, shopping, reading, pool, mall, library. Phrases: TV show, wait for eating dinner, talking on the phone E. Grammar language: Present progressive tense and Yes/No questions. F. Teaching difficulties: 1.The vocabulary and the sentence structures. 2. Learnthe grammar: Present progressive tense. 3. Oral practice using the target language. G. Emotion goals: Teach students how to cooperate . Be good at watching something and love our lives. Ⅲ. Teaching Methods Listening and practicing methods, pairwork, Task-Based Learning method. Ⅳ. Teaching Aids A tape recorder,some pictures and cards. Ⅴ. .Teaching Time: 5 Periods. Period One Teaching Procedures Step 1.Revision 1.Greetings. 2. Revise the words and expressions in Unit 4. Step 2.Presatation: Lead in 1.Do “Ask and answer” practice with the Ss. 2.The teacher asks the students to give more verbs phrases and write them down on the blackboard.(show many pictures to help the Ss.)Teach the new words and expressions. 3. Teach the Present Progressive. 1）.Introduction: Talk about the title of this unit. Show some pictures to introduce the Present Progressive tense. T: What’s she/he doing?
