Abstract Hung-Che Chen is one of girl students who are dispatched to United States by government in the first batch, and the first woman professor in Peking University. As a famous scholar of world history during the May 4th period, the historians thought of her has her own distinctive characteristic and unique female perspective. The connotation and characteristic in her historians thought are impacted by her special family life, education experience in United States and the development trend of Chinese history at that time. Comparing with the opinions of other scholars in the same period, some of her historians thought has the same context, some of it has unique context. She began to study “Erhya” and some notes about history and geography written by her father under the guidance of her mother when she was 4 years old for her father thought she was so clever to understand it. When she was 8 years old, she began to recite “the Yellow Emperors Book of Internal Medicine” which has 8 volumes. Miss Chen didn ‟t like the education from his family, but the family education gave her solid foundation of Chinese culture and made her eager to learn more knowledge.
