China Electric Power Research Institute, Haidian District, Beijing 100192, China) ABSTRACT: Rapid expansion of renewable energy sources such as wind power generation and photovoltaic (PV) generation brings significant impacts on power system CO2 planning, and to cope with it the carbon emission reduction IEEE 30 benefits from renewable energy sources should be led into generation expansion planning.
