2015 年4 月 第 35 期 頁 137-160 排灣口傳敘事文學研究史及評析∗ ∗∗ 童信智 〔摘要〕 本文試圖分析與評論19世紀末迄今，國內外學界有關排灣口傳敘事文學之採 錄與研究，藉此整理出百年以來的採錄與研究脈絡、發展特色。研究架構方面，除 前言與結論外，共分成「研究的啟航：日治時期」、「研究的延續與發展：戰後～80 年代」、「研究視野的擴增與突破：90 年代迄今」三大論述主軸，透過點、線、面 的觀察進行分析。 經分析Paiwan口傳敘事文學研究的脈絡與特色，依據時間先後為：清末採錄、 日治時期官方主導的科學性調查與研究啟航、戰後學界主導的延續性與開創性議題 挖掘與新發現、90 年代學界開拓與耕耘，以及2000 年以來本族觀點崛起與發展。 而90 年代迄今的特色，主要呈現於學界與本族研究的 對話。 〔關鍵字〕排灣、排灣口傳敘事文學、民間文學 ∗ 特此感謝浦忠成教授及傅琪貽教授的指導，以及二位匿名審查委員的指正。 ∗∗ 國立政治大學民族學系博士。 138 第 35 期 2015 年4月 History and Analysis of Research on Paiwan Oral Narrative Literature Pukiringan ‧Paljivuljung Abstract This study reviews the scholarly collection and analysis of Paiwan oral narrative literature since the late 19th century, with a view to summarising the development of this field over the last hundred years and noting its special characteristics. The article is divided into sections on the initiation of research in the period 1900-1945, the continuation and development of research in the years 1945-1980, and the expansion of the field of research and new research paradigms in the period from the 1990s to the present. On the basis of this analysis, we conclude that the context and characteristics of research on Paiwan oral narrative literature are: 1. Collection and recording starting in the 1880’s, 2. Scientific investigation and study starting in the years 1900-1945, 3.New discoveries on continuity of the tradition and groundbreaking topics in the period 1945-1980, 4. Further exploration and work by academics during the1990’s, and 5. The rise of the Paiwan people’s ow
