Inventory management is not only an important part of enterprise logistics and supply chain management, and in the increasingly fierce competition in the market directly and efficiently in relation to the competitiveness of enterprises. Inventory management is the goal of satisfying the customer needs, to reduce the inventory cost or increase the profits of the supply chain, so as to gain the competitive advantage. However, the level of customer service and inventory costs are often conflict with each other. So in maintaining service terminal customer at the same time, reduce supply chain inventory cost is an important issue in supply chain inventory management. So the enterprise inventory management practice of systematic analysis and study is very necessary. Taking graphite carbon production industry on behalf of Ningbo Shanshan new material company as the object, the production and supply of raw material characteristics analysis of its inventory management based on demand, to explore the optimization improvement method to improve its operating ability, and provides reference for other companies or similar enterprises in the industry.
