“五神针”为主治疗血管性痴呆的临床研究 Clinical research of wu shen zhenacupuncture for vascular dementia Zhanglei (Science of Acupuncture and Tuina) Directed by Wang Min ji Abstract Objective:Observe the improvement of wu shen zhenacupuncture for vascular dementia cognitive dysfunction, daily living skills,neural function defect of improvement and the influence on the safety index, discuss its mechanisms of action, seek a safe and effective therapy and intend to get the best optimum design of the treatment on vascular dementia, in order to simplify acupoint selection and save resources. Methods : 60 cases of patients which met the inclusion criteria of vascular dementia were randomly divided into two groups . The treatment group (group A) 30 patients, as the acupuncture treatment; The control group (group B) 30 patients, as the western medicine therapy; Both groups were treated 1 time per day, 20 times treatment a course, took 5～7 days rest during the course, according to this method continuous treat three courses ,and patients combined with high blood pressure, coronary heart disease or diabetes treated by lowering blood pressure ,dilating blood vessels, lowering glucose therapy. Then evaluated Montreal cognitive function scale (MOCA), daily behavior ability assessment scale (Blessed), and nerve function defect scale (NIHSS) scores assess in patients,before and after it was treated.
