T he pu rpose is to in terpret the p lays w ithou t considering th eir ab surdity or “room p lay features. M ost characters in the three p lays show up w ith m ysteriou s past and th e past reflected from th eir narratives consciou sly or un consciou sly. In narrative identity, narrating capab ility an d content are equ ally im portant for a character to configure identity. B ut personal recounting is based on m em ories, w h ich m igh t b e ideal an d fictional, so th e attestation process n eeds supp orts from th e ou tside w orld. T h e th esis b eg in s w ith in tru ders com in g an d th e con flicts in th e triad form ed by intruders an d other characters. T h erefore, characters w ith the capab le self go throu gh different degrees o f anx ieties an d tru st crisis, and find th eir iden tity in personal as w ell as interactive narratives. T hey finally go back to w hat perp lexes them m ost :the past self. A ccord ing to P aul R icoeur, every persons life can b e recounted in tem poral continu ity.
