Unit 2 Shaping and Reshaping Personality Lead-in :The Chinese Horoscope(星座） Chinese astrology(占星术,占星学 ) has a 3,000 year history. The Ancient Chinese originally invented the 10 Heavenly Stems (天干）and 12 Earthly Branches (地支)for chronological（依时间前后排列而记载的purposes. However, since most people were illiterate in that day, 12 animals were designated（指定） to symbolize the 12 Earthly Branches for the common person. The lucky animals chose were the rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog and pig successively. A: What is your sign of the Chinese zodiac（十二生肖 ）?
