Please briefly introduce the Fedderses.( their jobs, their religious social background, their social status, etc.) They were archetypical successful Catholic Washington couple with five children living in a gleaming colonial-style mansion. The husband was a lawyer, and the wife, a home-stay mom. From the outside, they have it all. Section Three : The odd couple 4. What made Charlotte Fedders finally decide to divorce her husband? The last straw for her came the day her husband turn his violent rage against his eldest son. 5. How did Mr. Fedders treat his families? Fedders had beaten his wife often and savagely. He thumped her repeatedly even when she was pregnant. He ran his household with iron rules: no one can enter the house in shoes; the boys had to do thirty press-ups whenever they came into the room.
