一.指导思想 《英语课程标准》在教学建议中明确提出:“学生只有对英语学习有积极的情感,才能保持英语学习的动力。”“在英语教学中教师应该自始至终关注学生的情感。” 二.教学背景分析 1. 教材分析 本单元的话题是history of Western painting and Chinese art; famous artists and works of art. 本课是第一单元的听力和语言输出课。在本节课之前的几课时,学生先后经历了Period 1 Warming up and Reading 、Period 2 Word Study、Period 3 Using Language.本课是在学生熟悉和掌握课文和词汇的基础上,进行听说的训练,帮助学生有效的输出所学知识。 我所教的班的学生具体情况: 文科班 学习兴趣在全年级中相对较高,但词汇量有限,基础知识不扎实,且一部分学生语言功底和语言运用能力有待提高。 二.教学背景分析 3. 设计思路 本节课是一节听说技能课,学生们首先要听懂对话内容,并通过听力感知如何询问或回答偏爱倾向,为语言输出做准备,并在学习的过程中增进对西方艺术的了解和喜爱。 在教学过程中,学生们通过自主学习,合作交流等方式逐步完成规定的小组对话的学习任务并进行班级展示,感受成功。 三.教学目标 教学重难点 Speaking Work in groups and make up a dialog. * Use expressions about preference like the following ones below. I’d prefer to do... I’d rather do... I’d like to do I want to ... Would you rather do...? Would you like to do... or...? Which would you prefer to do,...? If it was up to me, I’d choose to do... We shouldn’t miss doing/n./pron.... I’m not fond of doing/n./pron.... I don’t like to do... What’s your preference? Sample dialogue: S3: It’s OK with me. As long as I can see the Chinese pottery. I’ll be happy. Does that suit you. Ruth? S1: Suits me. What’s you preference, Claud? S2: That’ll be fine by me!
