ResearchontheFunctionofGovernmentinPrivateEducation TheprivateeducationinChinahasmadegreatprogresssince1980s.However, someproblemsthatcannotbesolvedeventhroughitsowneffortcomeupduringthe processofdevelopment.Theseproblemsarecausedbytheuncertainpositionofthe functionofgovernmentinprivateeducation.Therefore,theresearchonthefunction ofgovernmentinprivateeducationisofgreatpracticalsignificancetothe developmentofprivateeducation. Thisdissertationisdividedintofourparts: Thefirstpartputsforwardtheproblemsofthepositionofthefunctionof governmentinprivateeducationinChinaanditscauses Thesecondpartservestoprovidereferenceforthepositionofthefunctionof Chinesegovernmentinprivateeducationthroughacomparativeanalysisofthe functionofgovernmentinprivateeducationinAmerica,Japan,Franceand Philippine,etc. Thethirdpartanalyzestheoreticalevidenceforthepositionoffunctionofour governmentinprivateeducation.Themaintheoreticalideasarelistedasfollows:the publicnatureofgovernment,theself-careofgovernment,thelegalityofgovernment, thelimitationofabilityofgovernment,socialistdemocracy,the.influenceof educationandthefunctionofgovernment. Inthefourthpart,accordingtothecomparativeandtheoreticalanalysis,wetake therealityofChinaintoconsiderationandputforwardsomeprinciplesandspecific wavstodealwiththepositionofthefunctionofourgovernmentinprivateeducation, suchasenhancingthemanagementsystem,establishingconsultativeorganizations, executingleadershipsystemofeducationadministrativedepartment,improvingthe coordinationbetweendifferentdepartments,administrationbylaw,providing effectivepoliciesforprivateeducation(includingadmissionpolicyofclassified examination,clearpolicyofpropertyrights),direction,strengthening.supervision, supportingtheestablishmentofevaluationmediumorganizations.
