Some changes of the excessive air ratio and ignit ion advanced tim ing after adding hydrogen, comb st ion press re variat ion and som e problem s on economic performance and hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide em ission are invest igat ed in this paper . The experim ental res lts show t hat the ignit ion limit is enlarged w ith the increasing of hydrogen adding rat io .
