It is reviewed that the basic principles and methods of the static pushover analysis. Its main calculation procedure are summarized according to China code for seismic design by means of SAP 2000,based onwhich, the method is appliedto pushover analysis of prestressed concrete frame structure. he results acquired are contrasted with those got by pseudostatic experiment. Some proposals for design are given.
