Section A (4a-4c)-单元同步语法精讲精练 ?概念：在复合句中，修饰某一名词或代词的从句叫定语从句。定语从句所修饰的名词或代词叫先行词。引导定语从句的词叫关系词。关系词包括关系代词和关系副词。关系代词有that，which，who(宾格为whom，所有格为whose)，关系副词有where，why，when。本单元我们主要学习关系代词引导的定语从句。 ?关系代词在定语从句中的用法 ①that指人也可指物，在句中作主语或宾语。 eg：He is a man that/who often helps others.(作主语) ②which指物，在句中作主语或宾语。 eg：She likes to live in a room which/that is big and bright.(作主语) The story which/that she told them was very interesting.(作宾语) ③who指人，在句中作主语或宾语。 eg：Here is the man who/whom/that you would like to see.(作宾语) ④whom指人，在句中只能作宾语。 eg：He isnt the man whom/who/that I talked to just now.(作宾语) ⑤whose指人也可指物，在句中作定语。 eg：Is there anyone in our class whose father is a doctor？(作定语) ?注意问题 ①关系代词在句中作主语时，谓语动词单复数应与先行词的单复数一致。 eg：Tom is one of the boys that are from the USA.
