ABSTRACT To speed up the economic and social development of minority areas, is the main task of impoverished government in the new stage of China, and also an inherent requirement of building a harmonious society. Chinas chronic impoverished government focuses on the central and western ethnic minority areas, compared to a certain degree of neglect in the eastern minority regions. With the rapid economic development of eastern region, the problems of poverty are more serious. This paper takes Liannan Yao Autonomous County of Guangdong Province for example, attempts to explore how to let the minority share the fruits of economic growth from the perspective of pro-poor growth. First, summarizes the relationship between economic growth and impoverished government by reading a lot of literature; Second, diagnoses current macroeconomic situation on the basis of first-hand information from field research; Again, analyzes the effectiveness and problems in the practice of impoverished government to provide a useful reference for the new era of impoverished government in Liannan; Finally, proposes path selection of impoverished government in the new stage from the perspective of pro-poor growth, combining the macroeconomic situation and impoverished government practice of Liannan. Impoverished government in the new era will be a trinity of economic growth，allocation mechanism reform ，impoverished government. Economic growth is a strong driving force for poverty alleviation.
