Dongbei Special Steel Group Co. , Ltd. , Dalian 116031, China) Abstract: Aiming at process industry characteristics and its Bill of Material ( BOM) integration management require- ments, on basis of analyzing the mult-i form and mapping logic relationships of mult-i view BOM, a batch-based ap- proach for mult-i view BOM transformation mapping w as presented. By associat ing batches, product type, appli- cation domain and product lifecycle, successive cells, substitut able cells, derivate cells, aggregating cells and the relevant transformation mapping functions w ere defined. By identifying the batch-mapping characteristics of BOM , algorithms for mult-i view BOM structure transformation and data mapping w ere put forw ard. And transfor- mation mapping for mult-i view BOM was realized. The BOM transformation mapping model w as proved to be feasible and effective by its application in enterprise.
