Youll learn how to open, play, and edit loops using Cyclone DXi. Cyclone overview ________________________________________ Cyclone DXi allows you to trigger separate voices, or Riff Wave files, and the slices (slice) in the ACID file. Cyclone DXi has 16 pad, and you can assign files to each pad. You can trigger these pad using the MIDI file, the mouse, and the MIDI keyboard. You can edit the content and length of each file to synchronize SONAR speed changes and pitch tags. Now we have to open Cyclone first. To open Cyclone Dxi, then: 1. click menu File-New, open a new project, and select the Normal (general) template. 2. click the menu View-Synth Rack to open the Synth Rack dialog box 3. in Synth Rack, click Insert DXi Instrument (insert the Dxi instrument) button, and select Cyclone from the menu, open the Insert DXi Synth Options (insert the Dxi option) dialog box. 4. in the Create These Tracks (create these tracks) part of First Synth Output (Audio) (the first synthesizer output in Open These (Windows), open the window) Synth Property Page (Synthesizer part property page). 5. click on OK, Cyclone, Dxi, and Cyclone Dxi audio output tracks appear.
