Forestry Bureau of Nanchuan City , Nanchuan 408400 , Chongqing , China) Abstract : Factor s influencing chlamydo spore p roduction of Gl iocl adi u m v i rens and characteristic of t he spore are st udied . The optimal medium for chlamydo spore p roduction of G. v i rens is pot atodext ro se liquid which is screened out from 8 kinds of mediums. In PD medium , t he optimum cult ure conditions are p H 3 , 30 ℃, rot ating in t he light . The acid environment greatly enhances chlamydo spore forma tion and inhibited p roduction of conidia entirely , and t he number s of chlamydo spore p roduction are 800 ×106 chlamydo spores/ mL in t hese conditions for a week ; St udies of chlamydo spore germinating show : The optimum germination p H value was p H 6～8 and t he optimum temperat ure of germination is 25 ℃; t he germinating rate can reach above 90 % after 48 hour s ; t he optimal temperat ure for storing is under 5 ℃.
