荆门市科学技术奖励办法（Measures for the encouragement of science and technology in Jingmen） Article 1 in order to reward citizens and make outstanding contributions to scientific and technological progress in the organization of scientific and technical workers to mobilize the enthusiasm and creativity, accelerate the development of science and technology, according to the Regulations of national science and Technology Award and the relevant provisions of the Hubei provincial science and Technology Awards office, to develop this approach. Second municipal peoples governments set up the Jingmen Municipal Science and technology award, hereinafter referred to as the city science and technology award, divided into two categories: (1) Award for outstanding contributions to scientific and technological innovation; (two) scientific and technological progress award. The recommendation and Accreditation of the Third Municipal Science and technology awards shall be conducted in accordance with the principles of openness, fairness and impartiality and shall be free from any unlawful interference by any organization or individual. The administrative department of science and technology of the Fourth Municipal Peoples Government shall be responsible for the organization of the assessment of science and technology awards and the management of scientific and Technological Awards throughout the city. Fifth, the establishment of the Municipal Science and Technology Review Committee, responsible for the citys science and Technology Award review. The members of the jury shall be submitted by the municipal administrative department of science and technology to the Municipal Peoples government for approval. Sixth municipal social forces set up social science and technology awards, should be in accordance with state regulations in the Municipal Peoples government administrative departments of science and technology for registration procedures.
