低中水平放射性固体废物的浅地层处置规定(GB9132-88)（Provisions for shallow ground disposal of low and intermediate levels of radioactive solid waste (GB9132-88)） 1 subject matter and scope of application This standard provides for the nature and packaging of waste disposal, and puts forward the principle requirements for site selection, design, operation, shutdown, supervision and safety evaluation of shallow strata burial and disposal sites. In the implementation of the standards in accordance with the principles and requirements of the relevant implementation rules. This standard is applicable to all surface or underground, with protective cladding, with engineering barriers or no engineering barriers to low-level radioactive solid waste (referred to as waste) shallow disposal. This standard does not deal with waste disposal in natural or artificial caves. 2 terminology The terms used in this standard and their meanings are as follows: 2.1 Shallow Strata disposal: Refers to the surface or underground, has the protective covering layer, has the engineering barrier or has not the engineering barrier shallowly buries the disposal, the depth generally under the ground 50m below. 2.2 Disposal site: A land disposal facility for disposal of waste consisting of a number of disposal units, structures and sites. These provisions refer to radioactive solid waste, or waste. 2.4 Temporary storage facilities: a facility which, after receiving the waste, is required to be temporarily stored for various reasons. 2.5 field control period: refers to the period from which the disposal field can be fully open until the site is operational. Thereafter, the field is unrestricted to use. 2.6 Engineering Barriers: Engineering facilities that can delay or prevent the transfer of radionuclides from the disposal unit to the surro
