Students can describe the past events accurately. 3. Students can use conjunctions when describing the order of the events. 学习难点： The past form of the verbs. The order to describe the events happened in the past. 自学指导： 1. to remember the words and phrases； 2. to train reading； 3. to make conversations； 4. to finish exercises； 5. grammar 学习过程： Step 1 Check the homework and show studying aims. (3 minutes) Step 2 Lead in (5 minutes) Tell the ss that they will have a day off. Ask them what they want to do most? List the phrases. No. 1 is the most thing they want to do. Get them to read it out if they can give the reasons. Explain what’s the meaning of “day off” Step 3 New words (8 minutes) Teach some of the new words in the period by showing pictures both single and plural forms. 改备记录 Lead the students to read more times than ask some individual ones to read aloud. Step 4 Books –3a (10 minutes) 1. Give students the following information and ask them to predict. “Class 9 had a great time on the school trip. They went to Blue Water Aquarium for the day. Please guess what they did there and what they saw there.” 2. Listen to the tape and put the sentences in the right order. 3. Check the answers. 4. Books open.
