蓄电池组放电时间（Battery discharge time） Discussion on discharge time of storage battery The communication power supply provides an endless flow of power for communication equipment, and is an important component of communication network. In normal condition, electricity is supplied to the communication equipment by city power. If the power supply is interrupted, the standby generating set is used to generate electricity for the communication equipment. When the generator sets before starting or when the fault can not start, the battery is discharged by the storage battery to power the communication equipment. Therefore, the battery is an important part of the power supply system, and is the last barrier to ensure uninterrupted communication. If this barrier fails, it will cause serious consequences of communication disruption. Since the status of the battery is so important, it is necessary to know the capacity of the battery accurately, and then to determine the discharge time of the battery to the communication load. How to know the time of the battery load to the communication load accurately, and many people are vague about this problem. In a mobile communication base station engineering design, construction units require designers to calculate different service life of the battery discharge time of different base station load; and the author published an article that code for design of telecommunication power supply equipment installation issued by the Ministry of post and Telecommunications (YD5040 - 97) gives the calculation formula of battery discharge time too rough, conservative, battery discharge time calculated by partial discharge is smaller than the actual value, causing misunderstanding to the construction unit maintenance personnel. Through field test, the designers can know the battery using two kinds of capacity, discharge time is estimated and actual value is quite different, therefore, the author puts forward different views and discuss with everybody.
