However, the indoor model is difficult to obtain. The existing me- thods have the problems of low efficiency, high cost and poor quality of model data. Building in- formation model (BIM) is the product of the information of construction industry. The data of BIM is complete and comprehensive, and can be used as a source of potential 3DGIS indoor data. Based on the standards of CityGML and BIM, this paper studies the similarities and differences of the two standards. Furthermore, we establish the corresponding relationship between the two standards and conduct the transformation between the two models, transforming the BIM into the model that meets the CityGML standard.
