(P25) 他正在读书。 句中的read作不及物动词用，意为“读书”。例如： They are reading in the classroom. 他们正在教室里读书。 In the evening I often watch TV，but sometimes I read in the bedroom. 晚上我经常看电视，但有时也在卧室里读书。 read也可用作及物动词，意为“读”、“阅读”、“看”，其宾语通常是指“书”、“报纸”、“杂志”的名词。例如： He can read Shakespeare. 他能看懂莎士比亚的著作。 Lets read Lesson 18. 让我们读第18课。 She is reading an interesting novel. 她正在看一本有趣的小说。 read用作及物动词时还可以作“朗读”、“念”讲，此时，其后可跟名词或代词。 read也可以用于read somebody something或read something to somebody结构中。例如： Then he started
