Methods: Polygoni avicularis herba was identified by TLC, and the content of Myricitrin was determined by HPLC. Results: The TLC spots of the product and the Polygoni avicularis herba control medicine were fairly clear and distinguishable in the corresponding place, the linear range of Myricitrin was within 0.01-0.10 mg/ml (r＝0.999 6). The average recovery was 100.25% with RSD of 2.1% (n＝9). The results of TLC and HPLC could not be interfered by the blanks.
