Abstract: In order to prov ide scientific data for vegetation land scap e restoration and reh ab ilitat ion asw ell as con servation of b iod ivers ity around G reat W all in Beijing, and to ana lyze the influ en ce of tou rism on the b iod iversity in scen ic-spots, p lot m easurements w ere used in Badaling, M ut ianyu and Smi ata i scen ic-spots in Beijing, w h ich are famou s for G reatW all. T he resu lts show that: th ere are 459 p lant sp ecies in Bada ling, 626 species in M u tianyu, 437 spec ies in Smi atai resp ectively; and there are 4 1 form at ion s in th ese scen ic-spots. In average, 25% of the species in these areas belonged to Compositae, G ram ineae, Legum inosae. S mi ilarity an alys is revealed that the species in Bada lin w ere m ost s mi ilar to those in Smi atai, w h ile the formations in Bada lin w ere most s mi ilar to those inM u tianyu.
