Article 2 these provisions shall apply to all newly-built, expanded and renovated projects and the decoration of buildings and structures such as the original buildings. The buildings with the protection value of cultural relics and the decoration of ancient buildings shall be performed in accordance with the relevant provisions. Building decoration, referred to in these provisions refers to the exterior and interior space for the buildings or structures as part of the environment quality requirement, use adornment to decorate material, to modify the appearance of buildings and structures and internal engineering and construction activities. The term original house as mentioned in this regulation refers to all kinds of houses which have already obtained the certificate of ownership of the house and have been put into use. Article 3 the building owners, users, building decoration design units, construction units, the quality and safety supervision units, construction supervision unit, housing security identification, etc., all shall abide by these provisions.
