Signage oriented system has become an important media carrier of urban information dissemination and social services. Through the communication of spatial information, solve the public signage system where to go, to guide the public in the complex construction area, successfully reach the destination, provide a guarantee for maintaining good order in the city. At the same time, the city sign system as a foreign city name card, which show the image of the city, improve the city service level is increasingly apparent, has become one of the important ways of city management departments to the public information and the concept of city development. But during the survey, we found that the signage system has the development pace of the inconsistency in different regions, different domestic city specific application process, mainly including the following 4 aspects: (1) planning system is not complete, lack of information classification, site selection is not appropriate; (2). In the face of the existing signage system problems, we urgently need to establish a set of perfect and reasonable identification system design evaluation system to regulate the behavior of design, make it become the marking oriented design quality and effective method to solve the problem of the design practice.
