On basis of the logging difference between the igneous and sedimentary rocks, the times and types of volcanic activity of the first member of Shahejie Formation in Shanghe Region are analyzed. It is considered that the volcanic activity can be divided into six phases in the first member of Shahejie Formation in Shanghe Region, belonging to underwater eruptions in shallow water.
