METHODS:The indirubin content was deter- mined with sulfonated reaction-first order derivative-UV spectrophotometry; the indigotin content was deter- mined with sulfonated reaction-UV spectrophotometry. RESULTS:The average recovery rate of indirubin was 10180% , RSD = 075%, and the average recovery rate of indigotin was 10106% , RSD = 1. 27%. CON- CLUSTION:T his method is simple and repeatable, and can be used as the quality control method for the I nd igo N atural is and the extract of Ind igo N at ur alis with supercritical fluid extraction.
