Through analysis and study of the characteristics, cultural connotation and common application of seal character art form, it explores the furniture design principle based on the seal character form, and puts forward the design method such as the innovation in the form of lines, decorative art of graphic symbols, the deepening of the multi- cultural blend and deconstruction restructuring of font structure, then combined with the design practice. The seal charac- ter art form makes the furniture modeling show the beauty of artistic conception. It has important significance to guide the innovation design of the modern furniture modeling.
