The Establishment of the Hospital Knowledge Management System

In addition, knowledge-management (KM) will be the only correct approach to keep the leading position of the corporation in the industry. Since the National Health Insurance was implemented nationwide, a unitary system of payment which led to the public hospitals losing the superiority of low charge on medical treatment. Consumers expect higher medical service quality than ever before. The organization, culture and the rigid system of the public hospitals result in the medical personnel changes very often. Therefore, how to raise the management performance and medical service quality will be two important guiding principles for hospital management. It was much harder to run the public hospitals while the competition of the medical markets became white-hot. There was no reason to keep the outstanding medical staffs in their posts while the payments did not do the justice to the market prices. It, how systematically to accumulate, record the knowledge and experience then bequeath its wisdom to the next if some excellent working partners quitted their jobs, would be a challenge as the intangible assets of the hospital. The main concern of this study is to build up a medical knowledge-management procedure on medical knowledge management. Besides, it applied Notes the groups’ soft ware to construct the knowledge management system for the hospital which categorized medical knowledge documents of hospital. Then the system shared recessive and dominant knowledge on knowledge-management platform utilizing the theory of knowledge management. It achieves two milestones. One is to bequeath the medical knowledge to the next via continuingly accumulating knowledge, and an
