The impact of changes of science view Abstract ： in the 20th century on traditional Chinese medicine is clarified. The impact of positivist view of science on traditional Chinese medicine continued from the early 20th century to the present. Within a certain range， positivist view of science has its positive significance. The impact of science view of historicism on traditional Chinese medicine reflects in the application of system science on traditional Chinese medicine. Science view of historicism features of tolerance of different cultures which makes traditional Chinese medicine develop on the base of Chinese culture，different from unilateral emphasis on science in the past. The study on traditional Chinese medicine which is characterized by developing on the base of basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine becomes more and more popular，being an important directio
