* After the Echelle Full Frame procedure has been finished move to Element Selection and click on of the element lines in the method. Then navigate to Align Wavelength and select the latest Echelle Image. In case if the Line image does line up with ROI of the sub array then move further to the next line to check position here. The Subarray as shown here in the slide does not line up with the element image and needs to be realigned. * To align the position of Subarray and to move it to the intense element line image use the Auto button. But only if no other line image is visible in the window. Otherwise use the Arrow keys to move the Frame to the highest intensity of the element line image. When the position is optimized click the Accept button. In the same way check all remaining element lines in the methode. * Now your Prodigy ICP is ready for calibration or sample analysis. The previous procedure should be performed any time when precise analysis is required. In case if now DX DY offsets or shifting of Sub Areas are obtained then you may skip this procedure. But checking Subarray position from time to time is necessary at least at the time when something has change the condition of the system. * Air filter replacement. There are two air filter a mats installed -- one on the left side it filters the input cooling air for the electronic and High Voltage Generator in side the ICP The one on the right side of the system filters the input air for the Radio Frequency generator which provides the energy and high frequency for the plasma. The Air is used to cool the electrically components involved to generate a high voltage of up to 6000 V. Any dust can affect and damage high voltage components. The dust filter should be check and cleaned monthly if necessary replace the dust filter but never run the system without. In China naturally more dust is in the air then on other places that makes it very important to take care of the filters to avoid damage and expensive r
