Network and DSP Center, Institute of Acoustics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing 100080) AbstractBased on the analysis of dynamic host configuration protocol(DHCP) protocol, aiming at the disadvantage of the DHCP protocol, which is the fact that the DHCP server can not get the IP address of non-DHCP clients and twice or more DHCP processes are caused, a new solution is put forward to solve this problem. The solution lowers the probability of the phenomenon of network congestion and improves the whole performance of the network.
