Ltd, Beijing 100041, China) Abstract: Research p rposes: Through introduction of econom ical reinforcement ratio, the relationship between reinforcement ratio, girder sectional dmi ension and anti bending capacity is analyzed, the direct formula for estmi ating girder height for the requirements of bearing capacity of norm al section is derived, and the optmi um design of the normal section of rectangle girder w ith single reinforcement is proposed w ith comprehensive consideration of anti bending capacity and deflection checking calculation so as to easily determ ine reasonable sectional dmi ension and longitudinal reinforcement quantity. Finally, the mi pacts of change in longitudinal reinforcement ratio on deflection and maxmi um crackw idth and the relationship bewt een reinforcement ratio, ultmi ate bending moment and the combined bending value under load effect are discussed.
