No. 134 ） IPv6 网络中组播路由———PIM 技术研究 刘春江 （武汉邮电科学研究院 ，湖北 武汉 430074 ） 摘要：随着网络宽带用户和下一代互联网的发展，多媒体业务相关服务如网络电视（IPTV ）需求的日益增长刺激了IP 组播技 术的普及和发展，使其成为新一代网络中不可缺少的关键技术。与单播应用相比，采用IP 组播技术分发信息常常能从本质上 减少整个网络对带宽的需求。文章从IPv6 网络的各种组播技术入手，详细介绍了当前在实际网络中获得广泛应用的基于协 议无关组播（PIM ）的组播路由技术 ，重点介绍了域内组播路由中使用最广泛的PIM 稀疏模式（PIM-SM ）。对整个PIM-SM 组 播路由协议在IPv6 网络中的运行过程进行了论述，最后介绍了其在未来IPTV 等网络应用中的前景。 关键词：协议无关组播稀疏模式；因特网组管理协议；汇聚点；反向路径转发 TN915 文献标识码：A 文章编号：1005- 8788（2006 ）02- 0029- 03 中图分类号： Study of PIM technology—multicast routing in IPV6 networks LIU Chun-jiang （Wuhan Research Institute of Post and TeIecommunications ，Wuhan 430074 ，China ） Abstract ：With the growth of network broadband users and the next generation internet ，the daiIy-increasing demand for muItimedia-re- Iated services such as IPTV has activated the popuIarization and deveIopment of IP muIticast technoIogy ，which has become an essentiaI key technoIogy of the next generation networks. Compared with unicast ，the appIication of IP muIticast technoIogy for information distri- bution can substantiaIIy decrease the bandwidth reguirements of the entire networks. Starting from the introduction of the various kinds of muIticast technoIogies in IPv6 network，this articIe describes in detaiIs the muIticast routing technoIogy of the ProtocoI Independent MuIticast （PIM ），which is wideIy used in present practicaI networks ，with the emphasis on PIM-SM ，the most wideIy-used in muIticast routing . Then ，it discusses the operationaI process of PIM-SM muIticast routing protocoI in IPv6 networks and ends with its prospects in future IPTV appIications. Key words ：ProtocoI Independent M
