In order to comprehensively and accurately understand the production and sale of iodized salt and residents consumption situation, identify problems and take appropriate intervention measures to ensure the qualified iodized salt consumption, must be long-term and systematic work of iodized salt monitoring
Special plan for monitoring iodized salt
I. monitoring scope and objects

The monitoring object is divided into two levels:
The first level: iodized salt production, processing or packaging and wholesale enterprises
The second level: Residents
Two, monitoring methods
(I) sampling frequency
1, the first level: a sampling monitoring every month
2 and second levels: sampling monitoring is carried out every month
(two) sampling method

(three) detection method:
The salt iodine content was determined by the direct titration method according to the national standard GB/T and 13025.7-1999. The salt of Sichuan or the special salt species was determined by arbitration
(four) criterion of judgment
1, the first level of qualified iodized salt standards: the implementation of GB 5461-2000 standard, the iodine content in salt is 35 + 15mg/kg (20-50mg/kg)
2 and second levels of qualified iodized salt standard: iodine content in salt is 20-50 mg/kg
3. The standard of judging non iodized salt: iodine content in salt is less than 5mg/kg
4, the standard for substandard iodized salt: iodine content in salt is 5-20 mg/kg (excluding 20 mg/kg)
