Specime were collectedfrom the sto es of a artificial river i the suburbs of She zhe ( 113! 46∀ 0752# E; 22! 43∀ 4191# N) . While dipped the sto e i tap water for 20 d, the water tasted brackish. There was a lo gitudi al ridge o the midli e of the tube s copi g, a d the a ulatio s were ot obvious. The le gth of the polypide was 64- 80 mm. The bra chia coro al had 16 gill filame ts. The operculum was olivary i shape. The polypide had 7 thoracic segme ts, a d the first capillaceouslike segme t had 9- 11 collar setae. Thoracic u ci us co tai ed 9 teeth i a si gle row, 47- 52 m i le gth. Abdomi al u ci us co tai ed 11- 13 teeth, 50- 55m i width. The le gth of the ve tral chaetae was 506- 525 m.
