图像信息之描述与分析 The Description and Analysis of Images [摘要] 在人类文化史上，「图像」一直扮演相当重要的角色，而网络与多媒体技术的革新，更为图像信息的利用掀起高潮。虽然图像信息的表现形式已随科技进步日渐丰富，但图书馆在图像信息之描述与分析方面却仍未有突破。在网络充斥着大量多元的图像信息时，图书馆界实有必要针对「如何有效描述并分析图像信息」的议题加以探讨，增加使用者检索、利用的机会。本文将先就图像信息所包含的范围说明其种类与特色；其次探讨图像信息的实体描述与主题分析，进而为图书馆在图像信息的整理上提供一个思考方向。 [Abstract] In human cultural history, “image” has been playing a very important role.
